Since 1997 we have owned a 1998 Beneteau 352, the nearly identical successor to the 351. The differences are mainly cosmetic, especially in the interior cabinetry which features arched cabinet doors with caned inserts - very classy! Also, the 352 has a Yanmar 3GM30 while the 351, I believe, has a Perkins. Both have the same hull & topside. We have used it in the Upper Chesapeake for 5 seasons (1700 nautical miles) with great satisfaction. It sails well to weather even with the furling main, and is easy to back into a tight slip once you get the hang of it. It was a great experience for our first cruising boat. We have been out in 28 knots and after furling sails she handled it well - better than the humans!
