Daysailor 14.6 I paid $5,000.00 for this used boat' two years ago, after sailing in a sister boat for a couple o mos. It has proven very versatile for up to 3 passengers. It seems to slow dow a bit with that many on board. I normally sail with a 200 # friend and we have gotten it up to sustained 7.5 mph per gps during 16mph winds.
I would add the roller furler to make it easier to sail. The 40# thrust Minn Kota that came with it is fine for going out lake sailing but not for going against a current with wind against. It just lacks power (tops out at 3.5 mph no wind) and sometimes you have to add paddling to get going into current and wind. I purchased a gasoline 3.5hp outboard and it chugs it along at hull speed nonchalantly.
