French built catamaran by leader in composite technology. Most have four stateroom / four heads with two additional pilot berths. Huge salon - galley - nav station on bridgedeck.
This boat is built with the strength of a sherman tank! All structural bulkheads are kevlar/carbon fiber composite, cored everything except below the waterline shich is solid glass. The steering (which is the first thing to break in a cat when things go bad) is unbelievable. Two completely independent systems, each capable of handling the boat, connected by a stainless rod which disconnects in two minutes if required. Both systems are as simple as wheel-gear-gear-steering box-U joint-rudder - no cables or pulleys anywhere! At 44' x 25' she has all the interior and deck room one needs for comfy accomidation.

construction - steering - interior, exterior, and storage SPACE - walk around engine rooms - practical layout - high bridgedeck clearance - two garages accessed at transom or cockpit - very stable - capable of 14kts (so far) - exterior aesthetics

lack of dagger or centerboards makes leeway VERY noticable - heavy (and thus slow) for a cat (12,000lbs) - charter layout needs changing for owner (will be on ours) - 27hp Yanmars underpowered (only 7-8kts) - interior aesthetics

I Love my Boat! We consistently had 180 mile days down the east coast of US in all types of conditions with wine-glass stability at all speeds and in 8 ft. chop. The boat is quiet as a lamb below 9 kts boatspeed, but she screams when you want if the wind is up. Very livable, and will be better when the reconfiguration is done (down to three staterooms and two heads).
