I have been very pleased with this boat. I cruise the coast of B.C.from Nanimo to Port Hardy. I am not sure about the date of construction. I do beach at times, fish, crab, clam etc. The boat needs only about 5 Hp. My 7.5 is actualy too much power and weight. I hope to sail it for a long time yet. I would be glad to hear from others. Ken
I was wrong about the date it seems to be a 1976 or later.
The steering problem was solved by installing an auto helm 800, works well.
