The wing keel (Hydrokeel) keeps the centre of gravity low creating great stability on any reach or run but doesn't point as high as a fin keel while beating. Sleeps six. Aft cabin is on the starboard side that sleeps two. Head is aft on the port side with Navigation station forward of the head. Galley opposite Nav station with ice box and propane stove and oven. Engine is two cylinder 13 hp Yanmar diesel with folding prop. The rack and pinion wheel steering is very sensitive and responsive. Layout is similar to the older Mirage 30's and 33's but interior is reversed. The only compaint I have is that the waste deck fitting is not the standard 1 1/2 inches and had to have an adaptor made. Overall we are very happy with the boat and it certainly is pleasant to look at especially with its teak interior. Built in Quebec in 1987 and has won several races on Lake of the Woods (Ontario/Minnesota). We presently sail her on the Lake Superior Northshore out of Thunder Bay Ontario.
