It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

Absolutely wonderful boat. In my opinion, this is absolutely the best cruising sailboat in its size range. Much (much!) bigger than the Potter 15, which looks very comparable on paper. Very high quality of construction.

Round-bilge imitation lapstrake fiberglass micro-cruiser with shoal draft keel and internal center board. Comfortable cockpit with room for three or four friendly adults. Comfortable cabin with room for two friendly adults. Plenty of storage space for a boat of this size and room for a usable porta-potti -- no center board trunk in the cabin (it's in the keel).

Delightful and safe to sail. Easy motion for a boat of its size. Very comfortable for multi-day cruising by one person or weekending for two.

I really can't think of any way that I would change this boat. Easy to handle, either on the water or on the trailer. The only problem that I have had is when I broke the centerboard, and until I could replace it the cockpit drain (which drains into the centerboard trunk in the keel) gave me a self-filling cockpit. Come to think of it the cockpit drain isn't great even with the board in place. But that's it for problems.

Bad news: Jerry Montgomery isn't building them any more.
Good news: Bob Eeg (Nor' Sea Yachts) is building the M-15 and M-17.
