Pros:
Cons:

Morgan 25/Classic 250. Shoal draft keel/centerboard, aft cockpit, outboard equipped. The Classic 250 (built in 1974-75) superceded the Morgan 25 and was very similar. My boat is a 1975 Classic 250. For the info/specs that I have (as well as updates as I get them), please visit my Morgan Web page at >> http://members.xoom.com/drk2001/morgan.htm , or contact me by Email.

Pros:
Cons:

25'LOA 21'LWL 8'Beam 43'mast single spreader 30gal H2O, single head with holding tank & outlet to sea. Sleeps 5 with conversion of dinning table, single aft berth starbord. 5000lb displacement, lead ballast, swing keel. 2.9'board up/6'down. Mounted outboard 8hp. Tiller steering.
Lively boat with good pointing ability. Unknown hull speed, but I've achieved 6 knots with 15knot wind flying the Main & 130% Jib, 25 degree angle was had with this setting, board up. 8hp outboard with 25" shaft is good for moderate waters, but is inadaquate for seas of the 3'& above range. I carry 2 danforth anchors of 13lb each. A good sailboat for Tampa Bay, FL. Will confortable carry a couple with provisions for a week.
