Pros:
Cons:

A beautifylly comfortable cruising boat with plenty of room for 2 all the time and 4 for weekends. She's not a sail boat in the usual sense but you can't beat the comfort and livability. We lived aboard for three years and loved every minute of it. Now we do a newsletter for Nauticat owners and have established the North American Nauticat Association. Pros: Livability, comfort, motorsailing
Cons: sailing ability, speed

The Nauticat 33, manufactured by Siltala in Finland, is a highly functional and well built craft. I just sold mine after 12 years and approximately 12,000 miles. We never had an equipment failure of any kind though we traveled in all conditions, including breaking ice, and lived aboard and traveled for four years fulltime and many summers. The Ford Lehman Super 90 engine always started immediately. The interior and exterior layout is excellent and other than upgrading the electronics periodically, I can think of no changes that could be made to improve this wonderful boat. When selling her, we sold her for more than the price we originally paid.

Pros: Excellent useability
Cons: slow

We lived aboard for three years. Great accommodations. Good quality, easy to work on and fun to meet new people because it looks different. Great power and speed as a motorsailer.
