The boat sails more beautifully and sweetly than any other boat I have ever sailed. The sail is relatively easy to handle with a Barient electric winch and all lines are led back to the cockpit through rope clutches. I sailed the other day in about 15-25 and w/ one reef she had NO weather helm. One note on reefing....It's simple. Simply release the halyard and take in the reef lines. Thats it. No Climbing out on the deck to furl and tie the sail because the wishbone has internal lazy jacks. Under power she is a dream. We have 3-5 knot currents where I live so when we come into our dock power is crucial. We have only had her for a short time but with the Universal 30 hp motor and a maxprop she backs straight as an arrow. My only complaint is she takes a little bit to get ready to go. Oh yes...Please be careful gybing. thats 30 feet of boom swinging around.
If someone who owns a Nonsuch 33 reads this please email me and tell me your analysis of the boat.
