Purchased in 1995
An excellent boat, easy to handle by just two people. Good performance in light to moderate airs. Harder to handle in strong winds due to the relatively low ballast-to-weight ratio.
Good accomodation for the size. Aside from routine preventative maintenance, we have had little repair work to do in the time we have had it.
As a safety measure, we have added a masthead tricolour light - this makes us much more visible during overnight passages.
We now have 2 children as well - for their safety, we've added leecloths in the main cabin.
Would we buy it again? YES.

Comfortable and easy to sail, plus roomy swim deck for fun cruising. Racy hardware. Very efficient tapered rod-rigged spar and good foils give great upwind performance with only 4'5" draft. Very managable foretriangle and 7/8 rig is easy to tack. Easy to sail w/ 2 as all the lines are led to the cockpit. I regularly sail it single handed without the autohelm. Below is a nice blend of "wow" and tradition. Well lit and ventilated.

Quick and stable with a bit of weathered helm.
All lines lead to the cockpit, which is a nice size. Easy to venture forward due to wide gunwales. Beautiful cherry wood and marble interior, with large windows keeping the interior bright. Yes, I would buy another Beneteau.

Sweet, love the 32s5. I have owned for 2 months and have sailed all over Lake Erie. If thinking about buying a used one ......do it.
