Pros:
Cons:

great cruising design, yanmar 8hp, wheel steering, separate head and front sleeping area, experienced some problems with the bottom requiring sanding and application of interlux 2000 to seal hull. Lead keel partly enclosed at the rear with fiberglass can cause problems. This is my third season with the boat and I have learned alot! overall I am pleased with this boat.

Pros:
Cons:

We purchased our Northern 25 last year and have grown to really enjoy the sailing characteristics. It is very stable and single handing is no problem. We race it regularly in our club races and we almost keep up with the pack! Newer sails are definately required.
Likes: Stability, Appearance, Room
Dislikes: Narrow access to V-birth and head.
Overall, a great boat for coastal or inland use. These boats can be had for $5000-$10,000 Cdn.
