Pros:
Cons:

We (the admiral and I) love the boat. We have had few problems and don't expect many after 1.5 years of ownership and thousands of miles in the gulf around the Texas coast. One thing we didn't like and still am not too keen on is the hydraulic steering. It has been some problem but nothing that we haven't fixed or had fixed by the dealer.

Pros:
Cons:

Great boat overall. I took delivery in late December 2000, so my experience is limited. I have traditional main and roller furling jib and storm sail. I added a deck organizer (Harken), 6 spinlock ST sheet stoppers and a Lewmar 40ST winch on the starboard deck. The lines interfer with the main cabin hatch, but the ones I've run can all be eased while not sailing.

One problem is the throttle handle goes through the steering wheel in reverse, so I've had to position the neutral position as horizontal instead of vertical.

I will be adding more battery capacity for extended cruising. The standard batteries are just not enough to run all the electronics and systems on the boat.

Overall, it handles great, especaily in high winds and rough seas. Nice dry cockpit with the dodger going to weather.

I would like to share experiences with people with this boat. Email me at jscirica@earthlink.net
