Pros:
Cons:

The O'Day Mariner is a 19' sloop with a large cockpit for up to six adults, and a cuddy cabin with a v-berth, quarter births, sink with water pump, space for a porta-pottie. At 1300 lbs. it trailers well behind a mini van. Set up at the launch can be accomplished in 30 minutes.I have raised the mast myself although it is easier with an assistant.
The Mariner draws 10" with the board up and 4'11" with the board down. This makes the boat an excellent gunkholer.I power the boat with a 3.6 horsepower outboard although a 5 horse may move it a little better. Sails available include main, working jib, genoa, and spinnaker.
I have cruised for up to three days with two adults and two children.Accomodations are better designed for two adults who are'nt afraid to rough it a little.

Pros:
Cons:

The O'Day Mariner 2+2 is a 19' sloop with a large cockpit for up to six adults, although four don't have to know eachother quite so well. She also has a cuddy cabin with a v-berth, quarter births, sink with water pump, space for a porta-pottie.She weighs in at 1300 lbs. and trailers well behind my Ford aerostar van. Set up at the dock can be accomplished in less than an hour. The Mariner 2+2 draws 10" with the keel up and 4'11" with the keel down.I power the boat with a 3.3 horsepower mercury outboard. It seems to be enough power although from time to time I have wanted for a little more. Sails available include main, working jib, genoa, and spinnaker. I have cruised the islands around cancun for up to four days with two adults. Accomodations are perfectly designed for two adults who enjoy camping.
