Pros: Sturdy boat and rig - well built
Cons: Head is small.

I just acquired a 1980 model at an auction and my research on this model indicates that it is a very well built pocket cruiser. Although smaller than what I was looking for I am very encouraged by others in this forum. I look forward to testing it with some coastal and island cruising out of the SE coastal area. After I get more time on the water with it I will provide additional commentary.

Pros: sturdy well built boat
Cons: mainsheet track just aft of companionway in cockpit

Extremely happy with the way the boat is built as well as the interior design. Well thought out layout with plenty of storage and easy access. I have the atomic four and seem to have plenty of room for service once ladder and engine access panel removed. Also easy access to motor through starboard cockpit locker. Boat sails well on all points. Wouldn't mind a quarter berth but not having that second massive cockpit locker would not be worth the trade-off.

Pros: Very seakindly
Cons: Mast step

Purchased Hull # 89 in April 2013. Sailed coast of NC & SC Till last weekend 11/10/2013. It was on the hard for four years. Put very little into it and sailed it away and was in some nasty weather sometimes this summer. No problems with the boat at all. I love It...

Pros: For age in very good condition
Cons: Exploring purchase no comment

Today my wife and I viewed a 1980 323 with a 5 year old Universal 25 hp engine. We are seriously considering purchase after haul out and survey. I was troubled by the negative comments concern the front of the engine access. I am going to explore this issue prior to purchase. All the port lights leak and the owner stated they all need to be replace. The four in the head and v berth are easy but the metal framed in main cabin could be more difficult. If anyone has experience with window replacement would love to hear from you. Steve C
