We are upgrading this1979 Ketch in prep for extended cruising, both on the U.S. east coast and Caribbean (and who knows where else...?). Two other resources to consider if interested in 424's is the 424 Newsletter (contact jbcassell@aol.com) and NPYOA (New Pearson Yachts Owners' Association - go to www.pearsoncurrent.com).
Mods completed or in progress include windvane, refrigeration, ice box rebuild, A/C installation, electrical system upgrades including wind charger and inverter, hicap alternator and monitoring/regulation, and a lot of tweaks that take far more time than bucks. Give us an email if you think our comments would be helpful!

We've just completed a 2+ year cruise on WHOOSH after the reburb program mentioned elsewhere. If you'd like to learn more about how the boat handles in offshore conditions and/or how we view her +'s & -'s, please drop us an email. (Note email change).
