Cons:

15'8" classic daysailer. Flat bottom, centerboard, kick-up rudder. High freeboard and long waterline. Ample sail area and simple rig. Sturdy and stable, a great boat to spend the day in.

Pros:
Cons:

Built this Schock designed boat to his drawings. Made a few changes to the material list due to lack of oak in my area. 100% pine. Added thickness to all pieces to compensate. Increased hull thickness to 1/2" to allow for additional strength for trailering and beaching. Cantilevered (sp?) the mast. Sets up in 40 minutes and tears down in 30. Planing hull has exceeded 6.3 knots, well above her theoretical hull speed. She balances nicely and is a sight to see in a good breeze. Made in fiberglass by Eagle Manufacturing in New York. Comfortable daysailer.
