Pros: Great sailing boat, very comfortable, beautiful hull, great quality
Cons: Interior not as large as more modern 38 ft boat

Nothing not to like about the Sabre 38 Mk I. Beautiful, classic looking boat, sails exceptionally well, used in San Francisco bay all year round. Extremely comfortable, great quality. This twenty year old boat still looks like new.

Pros: great sailing boat, extremely comfortable, quality plus!
Cons: nothing major

I have not found anything to criticize on this boat. Top quality still shows 20 years later. Perhaps not as roomy as a modern 38 footer, but no gadgets or gimmicks...just a great boat. Sails well and can point quite close. Center Board may be a pain as we use her more in the spring.

Could not replace the quality with a new boat for 5 times what we paid. PO has kept her up well.
