I'd be happy to share my experiences...good and bad...with my Sabre 402.

Owner's report: Sabre 402, hull #24
I am the current owner of "Ten", Sabre 402 #24. I purchased hull #24 last April, from New Wave Yachts, in Manchester, Mass.
Based on a discussion with and information from the original owner, I was very concerned about the intregrity of this yacht. When I first looked at her, I thought she was beautiful, however, Sabre was quick to point out that there were some outstanding warranty issues that would be taken care of before I finalized my purchase. I had Dieter Empacher, a highly qualified naval architect, examine the yacht for me. Dieter and Sabre worked together to make sure that all concerns were satisfied to my approval. The warranty was extended by Sabre.
The yacht was commissioned at Manchester Marine under the supervision of the dealer New Wave Yachts and Sabre. They all worked very closely and responded to all of my concerns. I have owned many yachts over the years, the last of which was a centercockpit Bristol 45.5.
This past summer I did a great deal of cruising and lived on the boat for more than 5 weeks. My 402 performed above my expectations both motoring and on all points of sail. All of the electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems performed extremely well and I have no concerns about the integrity of this yacht.
"Ten" is located in Marblehead, Mass and I invite anyone to contact me if they would like to inspect probably the finest example of any 402 ever built.
