Pros:
Cons:

Just want to add to the other review...
Going to weather, the San Juan 30 not only keeps ups with moderm boats, but it beats most of them.
A San Juan 30, with the sails trimmed right, can outpoint an Olson 30, which is very important, since its performance downwind is very poor.

Pros:
Cons:

Well balanced racer/cruiser. Built by the Clark Boat Company and designed by Bruce Kirby. Strong masthead rig and a PHRF of 165. Modest stand up interior that sleeps 6. Performs very well upwind against modern designed boats but slower downwind. Points well and can carry the 153% genoa in air up to 20 kts
