Pros:
Cons:

German Fryer design, modernized for sailing in the Arabian Gulf, fully air-conditioned,ideal cruising yacht, although not fast she is a safe yacht with all the comforts.Head room through out the yacht is excellent. Interior layout is designed for cruising in mind with two double cabins, each with their own heads. Ample seating for up to 10 persons around the sitting area. The galley is well layed out with a double sink over the engine box. The engine is easily removed through a large fixed sky light directly above. This inatially caused problems with leaks through the silicone, so the skylight was changed to a large hatch. The sliding companion way hatch was also removed and changed to a lifting hatch. With the harsh climatic conditions in the Arabian Gulf, the yacht is in excellent condition, attributed to the original workmanship. Pitty she is not just a little faster. I would like to hear from others that own Idylle 13.5's

Pros:
Cons:

I own a Beneteau Idylle 13.5, I am very happy with the boats performance. Average cruise speed in average wind is right at 6.5 - 7.5 Kt.
Boat is well build and offer a great deal of comfort. I am considering adding some more fuel capacity, presently only carries 55 Gallon. Only problem I have at this time is an air leak somewhere in the fresh water lines, I have been searching for this for quite some time, but not been able to find it. If anyone have any suggestions I would appreciate a line. >pmortgagepro@aol.com

Pros: spacious for its size, handle well, good value
Cons: small amount of storage, a little slow, max speed about 8 knots

I recently bought a 13.5 beneteau idylle, really love it, trying to find out who made the hatches for this boat. great for the carribean, good head room, the refrigeration system is under the chart table, not the best location, but since everything is gps these days, not a big deal. so far the boat has performed pretty well under sail, she has a draft of just under 6 feet, makes it good for the shallow waters.
