Pros:
Cons:

Very stout strongly built mini-cruiser. Good sailing characteristics. Will handly any wind, and let you feel safe. Full keel, skeg hung rudder. Very heavy for so small a boat. A bit cramped below, no headroom. Berths are narrow, but the v-berth is good. I would take this boat anywhere.

Pros:
Cons:

I have owned my Seafarer 22 since new in 1978 (it was a demonstrator model). We sail it on the Chesapeake Bay in all weather. It is a safe and able boat.

Pros: Sails well under all conditions
Cons:

Purchased '84 Seafarer 22 in 2010. Hull and rigging sound but needed minor repairs and replacements after being on the hard for 4 years. Under sail, she's stable, responsive, tracks well and points high. Comfortable for two crew overnighting. Sail her in south Cape Cod waters. Very pleased with my Seafarer.
