Excellent coastal crusier. I have sailed the Texas Gulf Coast for many years in this boat. She handles rough weather very well but can be a bit wet in rough seas. The boat is some what slow in light air, but the addition of a light air drifter or "genaker" greatly helps out. Overall the boat is very well built and very rugged. I would like to get information from Glastron Boat company, such as detail drawings and availability, if any, of parts they may have.

My first mono-hull. The boat seems very solid. I sail in the Gulf of California and trailer the boat to San Diego for the Summers.

We've had our Spirit 28 for a year now. We sail it in the Canadian part of the Great Lakes. Would like to know if anyone has information on upgrades, motor changes, etc.
Great boat, well built, sails nice, handles well. Would like to hear from other Spirit 28 owners.

I have owned her for a little over a year and a half. She's been a great boat and she gave us 2nd place in the 10th annual monkeys uncle race this spring 2002. My wife and I also took her on a week long cruise up to Fernadina beach with all the ammenities we have added to her it was like cruising in a mini condo... Great boat. Love to here from other spirit 28 owners and their experiences.
