Excellent world cruising vessel.
Superb accomodation:3 private cabins including master aft. 2 Heads and seperate shower.
Medium displacement (20 tons) yet 175
miles+ per day.
Easily sailed singlehanded as fitted with furling headsail, staysail & main into boom, with 2 autopilots linked to chartplotter and/or PC Navmaster electronic chart system. Fully instrumented with Robertson equipment.
Easy to maintain as exterior varnish is kept to a minimum.

120HP Ford Lehman diesel coupled to 22in.pitch fixed prop. makes boat handling easy under power.Prop-shaft alternator fitted which produces 10-12 amps. at 7 knots boat speed; 2 solar panels provide 5-6 amps most of the time.
Other reasons we enjoy CALYPSO V so much are less simply stated. What they amount to are that we feel at home aboard her at sea, or in port, and envy does not enter our souls when we look at other boats, however marked their superiority in one respect or another.

Life is to short to spurn the undepleted reservoir of happiness in her.
However we enjoy her most for the memories she will behind.
