This vessel is a great sailer for all points of sail and points well too. I live aboard and race as well. The cabin is spacious with just the right amount of teak. I have replaced the plastic DC light fixtures, forward port lights, and added two solar/battery vents. The one problem is lack of much of a bilge to add bilge pump.

US Yachts 33' Sloop
33'0" x 11'0" x 5'0"

Asking Price....$31,495.00
There werenít many of these super boats built and the ones who
own them love them. These boats are well set up for cruising or
racing - and have an enviable race record. The interior is spacious
and unbroken by bulkheads, so one gets a very open feeling inside
the boat. This boat is well equipped and maintained. She is ready
for new adventures as her owner is moving to a larger sailboat.
Virtually the whole interior of this boat is one big cabin, from the
companionway steps to the rope locker. There is a quarter berth aft
partially under the cockpit, aft of the galley area to port. Further
forward is berthing and a dinette. Further forward yet is an unusual
arrangement of two Vee-berth areas, one higher and further
forward than the other. She will sleep seven persons. The boat is
equipped with a Force 10 propane cabin heater, gimbaled Hiller
propane galley range with TWO burners plus oven, an icebox and
new pressure water system. A shower is plumbed in, but there is no
hot water tank. There is an electric propane shut-off VALVE. She is
very roomy and comfortable.
Engine and Mechanical:
Power is Volvo Md7A of 18 HP diesel, rebuilt in 2000, equipped with
35 amp alternator plus a spare. Cable steering from a cockpit wheel
and Morse controls, and spare emergency tiller. One electric bilge
pump and sump pump for the shower. A Danforth and Delta anchor
are part of the shipís equipment; rode is of 20í of chain plus 300í of
rope, plus second spare rode.
Electrical and Electronics:
ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS: Approved marine electrical system
with wiring upgrades recently done., 30 amp shorepower
connections, battery charger, 4 group 27 deep cycle batteries in
two banks, phone hook-up, VHF radio, Garmin GPS, Autohelm 4000
autopilot, Hummingbird fish finder/depth sounder, Cassette/stereo
Notes and Extras:
SAILS & RIGGING: Working main, storm main (never used), 110
working jib, 150 genoa, storm jib, spinnaker, handy-billy boom
vang, 2 Lewmar #44 winches, 2 Lewmar #16 2-speed winches, all
halyards lead aft to cockpit, jiffy reefing on main, six sheet stopers,
masthead Windex. NOTES/extras: This boat sails beautifully and
handles very well. Extras include SS grill, SS swim ladder, 2 solar
vents, companionway dodger and matching sail cover. Possible
negotiable items are solar collector panels and new inverter
system. Asking price is $ 31,495
