Pros:
Cons:

Dick Newick designed boat, to meet the minimum OSTAR classifications. It comes in two versions, full wing and center cockpit design. Mine is a full wing and competed in the 78 OSTAR. Strengths of the design are its extremely seaworthy and forgiving. It is not as fast as some of the F tri's, but it will take a beating better than they will. If you keep it light, it is very fast, and easy to sail. It also sails backwards, very easily. If your not sure about your sail trim, center the tiller and let go, the boat will almost always find its course. It is a great boat for two, and no more than 4.
