Pros:
Cons:

The Victoria 26 "Elegante" designed by William McVay and built by Victoria Yachts of DeBary, FL is an attractive coastal cruiser with traditional lines. A spoon bow, counter stern and long overhangs make her very pretty indeed and her shoal draft keel with iron centerboard allows her to gunk hole in waters as shallow as 2 1/2 feet board up.
She is easily trailered and with an empty weight of 4000 lbs and a beam of 8 feet, she can be pulled by almost any pickup or SUV with a V-8, no special permits required and with the shallow draft, she launches from her trailer with the ease of a power boat, no tongue extension needed. The Victoria 26 came out of the factory extremely well equipped for a yacht her size. Eight opening ports, 2 hatches, self-tailing main winches, 3 other winches, sink w/pressure cold water (40 gal), 2 burner pressure alcohol stove, a marine head with 15 gal. holding tank, all teak interior including salon dining table and separate chart table and lots of external teak trim including teak cockpit table, 32 inch Edson Destroyer wheel steering, wind direction/speed, knot meter and depth sounder on instrument pods at the helm, twin dorade vents, lazarette locker plus 3 cockpit lockers, inboard OMC saildrive 15 hp and much more. The boat is extremely easy to singlehand (even when flying the cruising spinnaker)and an absolute joy to sail. If you can find one (there were only 22 made)you'll find a lot of boat for the money and big boat features on a pocket cruiser.
