Pros:
Cons:

My Westsail 43 is a cutter with a modified full keel with an attached rudder. It displaces 32,000 lbs., draws 5 ft. and has more than 1200 sq. ft.`of sail. It was designed by Bill Crealock to cross oceans in comfort while carrying a large payload. Mine has crossed both the Atlantic and pacific oceans with ease. Its only problem is that it must be nursed to get it moving in very light air. Once moving, however,it will keep going, even in three or four knots of wind.`It has a very safe, ocean going interior, with real sea berths and a galley where there is no need to be strapped in, no matter how bad the conditions get. it is a great boat that is both fast and dry.
