A 26' symetrical hulled double-ended catamaran based on Polynesian craft. Unusual in that the beams are lashed to the hulls, giving strength but flexibility. The entire boat can be dismantled for transport behind a large family car. Rig currently adopted is sloop with a wing-sail gaff main which sleeves on to the mast rather like a Laser dinghy, giving a very clean profile at minimal cost. Intended for coastal treking by the average sailor, and ocean crossing by the few. The design has been taken trans-atlantic, but certainly not by me! Overall, a very basic ( even spartan ), but seaworthy micro-cruiser.
