Pros:
Cons:

An IOR quarter ton class boat designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built by Yankee Yachts of Santa Ana,CA. A big 26 ft. boat( 5'8" headroom). Fin keel and skeg hung rudder. 8'6" beam. Very spacious cabin with enclosed head aft to starboard makes an open main cabin. Inboard(petter) diesel.
disp. 5200lbs, ballast 2200 lbs. a great sailing boat and a
comfortable cruiser for 2-3 people. Just spent 10 days on it cruising the SanJuan Is. Love the boat but it has a few warts, leaks around chainplates.I dropped the keel, recaulked and tightened keel bolts, now the bilge is dry. I would like to hear from other Yankee 26 owners about their upgrades and impressions of the boat.I don't think many were built.
