Pros:
Cons:

A 29 ft open stern NZ design, with deep fin keel and elyptical rudder giving blistering winward performance and off wind plaining. Roomy and comfortable downstars with 6 berths, diesel saildrive and very larg cockpit. The baot is so well balanced that working to windward requires no tiller contact and playing the mainsheet is all that is required. The yacht is a NZ design by Jim Young, in Auckland you will find 100's, while in Sydney there are approx 25. A sensational club racer pointscore winner with a comfort factor allowing weekend away with the family. Can be sailed by one person easily in moderate conditions but respondes well to added weight on the gunwhale. I cannot find a weakness other than we all want a boat with a downsatairs larger than the upstairs possibilitites. Other than trading up to a J35, I cannot see myself selling this boat, it reacts and sails like a high performance dingy but is forgiving to the extreme. We like lining up much bigger and so called faster yachts around Pittwater (Sydney) and sailing past them.
