This is an excellent small boat for coastal cruising and daysailing. Plusses include strength and quality of construction and finish, good performance on a reach or run, easy to tack (except in light winds), comfortable ride, comfortable cockpit, excellent visibility due to low cabintop and lack of headsail, high freeboard protects well from spray, no standing rigging = few places for deck to leak, good storage areas, lots of headroom in cabin, easy access to wiring etc., all lines including reefing lead to cockpit, it has enough wood and is unique enough to give it some "personality". Negatives include inability to point well (due to lack of headsails), considerable windage due to rather beefy carbon masts and high freeboard, even worse than average ability to back to starboard. Net, a comfortable and reliable boat that is enjoyable to sail (or to motor)
