Description: The Fraser 41 was built by the DeKleer Brothers of Richmond British Columbia Canada. The DeKleers also built a Fraser 51, a center cockpit Fraser 42, the aft cockpit Fraser 41, a Fraser 30 and the Endurance 36. Most of DeKleer’s boats were owner finished, so interior finishes vary. The Fraser line of boats were made of solid FRP, heavily laid up by today’s standards. The hull to deck joint is solid fiberglass. The boat top is cored.

Our Fraser 41, Nikko, is one of four boats finished by a professional boatyard. The interior is finished with solid teak and fir. The hull is fully insulated. The boat carries 160 gallons of water in two built in fiberglass tanks and 100 gallons of fuel in two tanks built into the bilge.

The Fraser 41 has a waterline length of 31’6” and a beam of 12’2”. Her D/L ratio is 314 putting her in the heavy cruiser category. The Fraser 41 has a reputation of being a good upwind boat and a solid cruiser.
