Pros:
Cons:

We have been very pleased with both of our Bayliner, yes, Bayliner sailboats. We are extremely happy with our B-272.

She is safe, seaworthy, and is very large inside and provides excellent ergonomics.

Very easy to sail and power and has required very little glass maintenance.

Downside? Leaky portlights, easily fixed, she doesn't upwind very well. And last, we get a lot of attitude from the snooty yacht club types..(don't really know if that particular problem is a downside though)

Well built overall, heavy hull and top deck. Decent rigging though maybe not as heavy as would be required for offshore cruising.

Excellent boat overall. Especially when you look at this boat compared to others.

Pros: Built for comfort(not for speed!)
Cons: see above

We too have a "BIG BUC" and have listened to all the "negatives" (and don't want to hear anymore) We love are boat for what it is and NOT what it isn't.
