Pros:
Cons:

We have owned Sophisticated Lady for two years. She is well made, especially the hardware & standing rigging. The boat weighs nearly 10,000 lbs. Edson wheel steering, hot/cold pressure water, harkin roller furling, refrigeration. Sails fast! Engine too small (only 13hp Yanmar) but runs excellent. Does not go straight when powering in reverse. Overall - excellent boat.

Pros:
Cons:

An overall fast and nimble boat. However, when she becomes slightly over powered the boat heads up, and the rudder comes out of the water just enough so there is a loss of control. The main must be eased off to get the rudder back into the water.

Pros: Multiple
Cons: Size of Yanmar, not rigged for Spinaker

Bought the boat back in 2002, have upgraded both the RF and the Main, autopilot, instruments. Boat came equiped with Radar, hot and cold pressure water system, three burner propane stove, wheel, rod rigging,. . .
I raced one year PHRF - and took second in my class, points well, nimble, easy to single hand if set up proprerly. Mine likes a good breeze 15+ to really have some fun, 25+kts is a blast. Stable boat.
