Pros: Sails like a dream. Handles under power very well, even in tight quarters. Turns on a dime, well actually in its own length. Very stiff and takes most wind gusts in stride. FAST FAST FAST!!!When cruising you will keep up with just about anything comparable and you can still race this older boat competatively. Most of these boats where raced at one time so you will usually end up with a quite a few spare sails. This is a handsom boat with a touch of classic lines, you will get some compliments and some stares... OH and it LOOKS fast.
There is not enough room here to say all the good things I can think up.
Cons: Could use a little more head room if you are over 6 ft, but there is standing room (6'2")in the center of the main salon.
Not much hanging space for clothes. Not much shower room. Original ports don't open for a little more ventilation. You will get alot of prop walk in reverse with the original 2 blade prop and it doesn't stop or slow as well as some boats when using reverse (this just means you have to think ahead a little more when docking or picking up a mooring but it works).
Sum it up: Small enough for singlehanded daysails. Stiff enough to handle weather if you get cought out in it. Fast enough for racing. Big enough for long weeekends or maybe a week or two. Not big enough for livaboard or long cruises without the feeling that you are "camping" starting to set in. An all around FUN boat to sail. Let me say this again... THis is a FUN boat to sail.

Pros:
Construction quality, design, rugged rig, ease of handling, practical layout
Cons:
Stern pulpit is a little shaky (divided to accomodate swim ladder.)
A responsive, stiff, fast sailboat with excellent accomodations for its size. Excellent handling under sail or power. Impressive quality of build. Rugged rig. High bows for relatively dry running in a seaway.
This is an excellent boat for single handing, but has room enough to handle quite a number of guests.
It is not a maxi-cruiser, and some newer designs may have greater internal volume and accomodations but it is still a very capable vessel for its size.
