Pros:
Cons:

Last of the Bill Lapworth Cal 27s: 5200lb disp, 2000lb lead ballast, deep 5' keel or 4' shoal, 9' beam, and one heck of a large cockpit.

Heres my webpage for more about this terrific boat:

Pros:
Cons:

This is a fast, fun boat to sail with no real bad habits. My problems with it are due to the usual production boat issues - lack of backing plates on deck hardware and too-thin fiberglass in the cockpit coamings that cracked and let water into the core.
Otherwise, the boat is great.
