Configuration - sloop. Modified full keel with skeg rudder. Medium-duty coastal cruising vessel, displaces 14,300 lb. Easily pushes hull speed in 10kt. wind on a working jib. Very agile in light-medium wind but also handles heavier blow quite well. Heads to weather on an empty wheel - very safe dual-handed operation. This boat has been upgraded to a Yanmar 3JH2E 3cyl. diesel auxillary, which reaches hull speed at around 3000 RPM and handles nicely in the harbour. All around pleasure to sail and cruise in. Since this is one of the most common Cheoy Lee models it was a surprise not to see it in the "boat model" list on the data entry page.
