Pros:
Cons:

Spent months and many miles looking for Classic Plastic with the attributes I ended up finding in this boat. Wanted a boat suitable for extended cruising but not necessarially circum -navigation. Wanted an aft cabin or potential for privacy if guests were aboard, the Aft berth had to be big enough for me at 6'1 200lbs. (this ruled out the C&C 38 foot landfall among others) Wanted it to sail reasonably well but not draw more than 5 feet Wanted to get if for under 40K. This boat has really been around - and looks it which is why I could buy her reasonably. But it also is well equipped though we are finding things to add in addition to the things that need repair. But what boat doesn't? Passage way to aft cabin is low and clunks head but is much better than up and over. On the way to this boat we had come close to an Irwin 37 but it had too many structural problems - am very happy that I held out for this better built boat.
It is a ketch rig which I happen to like and as I am not a racer I will sacrifice some performance to ease of reefing and looks.
In short am pleased with her though will find her foibles as we go. Stay tuned
April 03 getting ready for first cruise - relocation from NC to NY. Suspect that will tell us much about what was left undone.
5/03 Arrived in New York after 635nm trip with no particular problems - Tach cable went bad and there are a few deck leaks. Had some heavy weather and boat handled very well am quite pleased. Did not get to sail as much as wanted to (ICW) butwhen we did it moved along. Not a racer, but a very comfortable boat with lots of storage space.
