Pros:
Cons:

Strengths of this design are its stability and cruising comfort. Boat is stiff, has a good sea motion (doesn't get extreme in most weather), tracks well due to its shark fin keel. It is a fairly comfortable cabin. The fold-up table makes for an airy, open cabin. The Atomic 4 runs like a sewing machine. I get 4 mi per gallon when plain motoring. Cockpit seats are 6' plus. The two cockpit lockers are both deep, wide and long. I can almost stretch out. Boat sails faster than I expected. In 12 - 15 wind reaches @ 7+kts with 20 yr old sails PHRF rating has been destroyed!

The less desirable features are the gally layout. It is split across the aft end of the cabin. The stove location is over the end of the port settee, so you cook offset to your right. The V berth is quite high and difficult to enter and exit. Wife & I sleep in main cabin on P & S settees. Head is small. Our model has full teak interior with teak cabin sole. Very pretty. Travels well, we have taken several 2 wk cruises and have never been uncomfortable except one 20 mile motor with 4-6 on port quarter.
