"THISTLE DO" built in 1977 in England, Lloyd's class "+100A1 YACHT". Now in Marina del Rey, California.
Yanmar 1 cylinder diesel; 2-blade prop.; (1) roller-furler on its own stay at the stem fitting; (1) headstay (for hook-on jibs) at foredeck with rod-to-hull inside; (1) spinnaker; (1) cruising spinnaker in sock. I prefer the English-made "short" cockpit with the large lazarette, to the Canadian-made "long" cockpit. I am refurbishing the all boat right now (summer '98).
