Pros:
Cons:

Strong,Canadian built Pilot House Sloop, designed by Stanly Huntingford. Built on the West Coast of B.C. at Salt Spring Island, home of Cooper Industries. Last year of Cooper 353 was in 81', a fire at the boat yard caused Cooper to sell the mold to BayLiner in Seattle thereafter built by them and re-named US 35 and nowhere near the same boat.

Pros:
Cons:

I bought my Cooper 353 which was hanging off a Mooring Ball and the only thing that worked was the Manual Bilge Pump.
The Hull had surveyed out to be in very good condition, so the rebuilding of Wind Dancer began.
Everything rebuilt, updated with Electra-San Sewage, Home Style Head to all new upholestry and clean sanded oiled all of the Teak.

These boats clean up remarkably well.
I traveled with Wind Dancer from the San Juan Islands WA to All ofVancouver Island, Inside passage, Queen Charlotte islands and Southern Alaska.
Very Safe, Stable boat with excellent ability in Tides and up to 5 foot chop in the Johnston Sraits.

If you are looking for a West Coast Major Cruiser for a couple boat, you better check this one out.
