We purchased our boat as a fixer-upper and have brought it back from the nearly dead. I have documented what I've done in the event that others might want to follow along with their boats. Let me know if you are interested.

Pros:
Cons:

I recently purchased a 1974 Coronado 23 Mark II for $6500.00. The boat is a lake boat and has never been in salt water. It was kept in a heated indoor storage when not in the lake and is in excellent condition. I have not had a chance to sail her yet. She appears to be a very well made boat. She has a shoal keel and only drafts about 2’ of water. She is a full sloop and sports a 9.8 Evenrude kicker motor. She came with a reefed main and three head sails including a spinnaker. Not sure if I will get her in the water this year but when I do I will add more information to this review. The boat came with a owners manual so if any one is needing statistics I have them. There is a Coronado web site www/concentric.net/~Cs-cb/sailing/ this site has a lot of good informaiton.
