Like the CSY 33 and 44 models, the 37 is built heavily, but sails nicely. The Plan B is different in interior layout with one stateroom and an immense salon. For a couple, it is perfect. The CSY 37 is quite original in appearance, with classic details and the flush deck that provides all that interior room. There are shoal (4'8") and deep (6') draft models. Mine is a shoal and I have no complaints about her windward abilities. Water tankage is about 120 gal. and feul is reportedly 60 gal.. There were only about 85 of these boats made (A and B plans together) during 1978-1981, some are now in better shape than others. I'll force myself to list possible drawbacks to this boat: Huge cockpit could hold a lot of water if breaking waves boarded. Some of the storage takes moving cusions and such around to get to. cockpit/deck design makes dodger/bimini planning interesting.
All in all, if you plan on extensive cruising, I don't think you could be dissapointed by this boat.
