Pros:
Cons:

We have found the boat to be an excellent cruiser for two people (Michigan to Key West and return). The diesel engine was well appreciate. The interior of ample teak and storage space gives a feeling of security. The greatest weakness was the lack of an adquate anchor bow roller mount. With a 10'6" beam going into heavy weather is not the best angle of sailing. Overall we are very pleased with out boat.

Pros:
Cons:

My Ericson 28+ is a comfortable boat, not only to sail, but also to weekend .It features the interior area of a much larger vessel, lots of teak, large quarterberth, storage areas, and class. It's a strong, well made boat that sails fine in lighter air,but developes a lot of weatherhelm in heavier wind. The key is to reef early. It's a great boat for a couple. My wife and I love this boat and are greatly satisfied with it.
