A few3 months ago I purchased a seafarer 29' with the futura deck/fin keel. I have since discovered that this vessel was sold as a kit boat or ready to sail. Well, mine must have been a kit boat as the interior was never finished and the existing cabinet work is shoddy. However, I purchased the vessel for a project to keep me busy during my "retirement" and she was bought almost ready to sail. She sails like a witch even in light winds and is very stable and manuverable. I have owned several other boats and now would not trade them for my seafarer at any cost. The interior is workable. her lines are beautiful and I am stopped frequently and asked what she is and how old she is. I am going to keep this one for many years. Mine is the fixed keel version which must out perform the other versions.
