"Ajax" is a 43 foot steel cutter with a long fin keel. She displaces about 14 tonnes, and has 3 tonnes of lead ballast.
Auxiliary is a 56HP Perkins driving a Hurth Box, and she has in mast furling.
Accomodation is a large aft cabin with a double and single berth, Forward cabin with 3 adult and 1 childs berth, and provision for 2 to sleep in the saloon. There is standing headroom throughout, with access to the aft cabin from both sides of the centre cockpit
She has a large chart table with swivelling chair, a workshop and large corridoor type galley

She has been home for myself and my wife or 2 years cruising in the South Pacific, and is fast and comfortable. The only thing I would change would be to add a hard dodger or small enclosed wheelhouse. She is a fine vessell, I am very happy with her and do not have fantasies about "My next boat"
