Great Pelican is a 16'plywood boat, gaff-rigged, designed for the San Francisco Bay.
Its broad beam (half its length) and flat bottom make it very stable for a centerboard boat. It weighs only 500 lb and trailers well.
I've been very happy using mine on the Finger Lakes in NYS. It easily holds my family of 5 and several days camping gear.
