Pros:
Cons:

The Gulf 27 was built by Capital Yachts of California. It is a heavy duty cruiser and sails like a dream. The Pilothouse is a nice feature for foul weather with it's second steering station. It is well appointed with Universal M-18 diesel and abundant teak and holly down below. Full head with shower and hot water. Secondary systems (foot pumps) for all sinks and showers. Cockpit shower too. She draws 3'6" and is hand laid heavy fiberglass. Twin batteries provide power for the radar, GPS, autohelm, and VHF. Roller furling 150% jib and fully battened main on heavy - ocean going mast and boom. There are not many of these around so people are always looking with interest as we go by. Capital also made the Newports which are almost identical except for the lack of Pilothouse. I only wish I could have found a Gulf 32.
