I can't say enough for my sloop rigged, center cockpit HR. I have been seriously sailing for 13 years and have owned several boats which include a Hylas 44 and a Gulf Star Sail Master 48. Although both of these boats are great the HR has them beat. The boat sails much like a 40 footer plus. Weather helm is almost non existant. The boat has a very secure feel to it. The "Lloyds Register Of Shipping" gives my wife and me a confort level above the norm. This certification indicates that the boat was built to certain standards that insure it's sea worthiness. I welcome sailers to contact me with questions. I have been sailing this boat in the great lakes since 1981. I love my boat.

This is a great boat. Below is very roomy for a 35 footer, beautifuly crafted, and with lots of storage. The passageway to the aft cabin is tight at about 5' 1" headroom, but managable. She is a bit sluggish in less then 10 knots of breeze, but does well in winds above that. This boat is especially well suited to cruising with kids.
