Pros:
Cons:

I took posession of this boat Oct. 1999 for model year 2000. This is our cruiser raiser called "Tiger Lily" and has been a joy to sail and cruise. I use this boat basically on week-ends and do short coastal cruising. We have redesigned the rear stateroom for two cabin owner usage. Our longest time aboard has been a 17day cruise to Nantucket, Mass. Club racing from Huntington Long Island has been fun but, will require another year or two before I can begin to master some of the unique aspects of sailing this main driven sail boat. Many creature comforts make this sail boat our treasure.

Pros: excellent cruiser with great family exterior/interior 3 cabin layout, large cockpit and easily sailed by 2 and reasonably sailed singlehanded if equipped with auto pilot
Cons: some deck delamination and poor forward anchor locker drainage

We purchased a used 2002 in 2005 production model that has turned out to be an excellent Great Lake cruiser. A high free board and friendly companion way stairs results in a great family exterior/interior 3 cabin layout with a large cockpit. Has good visibility. With an excellent helm/winch/cockpit layout with all the running rigging running into the cockpit makes the 460 easily sailed by 2 and reasonably sailed singlehanded if equipped with auto pilot. Sails well in light air with excellent predictable performance 15-20 knots after which time you need to start reefing down to keep the crew happy. An overall "GREAT" vessel.
